The Student assists with the day-to-day inpatient and clinical pharmacy operations. The duties include IV preparation, compounding medications, order verification, picking medications, loading Omnicell machines, wasping medications, packaging medications, buying, assisting with clinical pharmacy functions, pulling out-of-date medications, answering nursing and medical staff questions, documenting clinical interventions in Pharmacy OneSource and other duties as assigned.
