Job Title Senior Storage Engineer What does a successful Senior Storage Engineer do at Fiserv? The Senior Storage Engineer is responsible for leading multiple assignments and critical projects in delivering standard/custom, supportable infrastructure technology solutions based on architectural standards, new technology roadmaps and business requirements as it relates to storage engineering. In addition, you'll focus on automation of repeatable tasks, related processes/ procedures. What you will do: Plan and conduct assignments involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project at a time. Assist in prioritization of technical and business unit partner activities and projects. Work with storage engineering team and/or outside consultants in architecting and designing enterprise storage solutions within business and commercial guidelines. Improve enterprise quality and availability of storage engineered infrastructure components. Continue to simplify, review, deploy and further improve the automation of repeatable tasks and processes, alerting, monitoring, maintenance, backup recovery and business continuity/disaster recovery process. ·Assist in Improving storage engineering team productivity and execution with continued deployment of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) common processes, interfaces, tools and automation. Manage the maintenance of data storage solutions, utilizing IBM DS8K enterprise class storage, EMC PowerMax, Unity arrays, Pure, InfiniDat, EMC Isilon or NetApp NAS, and SAN fabric (Cisco, Brocade) infrastructure. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in applicable field or advanced degree in applicable field and 6 years of relevant experience 10+ years of experience in storage architecture, engineering, or operational domains 8+ years of experience with scripting in languages and integration and/or orchestration tools such as: Python, Perl, Ansible, Microsoft Power BI, VMWare vRealize (vRA and vRO), Spectrum Protect, Splunk, and Moogsoft 8+ years of experience with SAN switch technology management, storage provisioning, LUN masking, zoning, performance management, and volume management 5+ years of experience with cloud provider solutions and on and off premises integration related to storage offerings What would be great to have: Storage Cyber ransomware solutions and integration experience Persistent storage experience for Kubernetes, Containers This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
