GridIron IT has an immediate need for a Help Desk Specialist with an Active Secret Clearance.

Location: Pentagon in Arlington, VA.


Essential Functions:
  • Provide on-site support for the Integration and Technology Division, functional CIO, and Unit IT Requirements Officer in planning and executing support for SAF/IA's information sharing and collaboration needs
  • Support newcomer and recurring training to users on applicable sites and tools, desktop applications, and other hardware as necessary
  • Support IT hardware installation, maintenance, and break-fix support, including COTs desktop, laptop, and notebook computers, tablet PCs, scanners, printers, docking stations, and other computer peripheral equipment and accessories
  • Provide support for COTS desktop and laptop operating and application software to include Microsoft Windows OS like Windows 10 and any legacy MS Windows OS, MS Office suite of applications, Internet browsers, Adobe Acrobat Professional, scanning software, antivirus software, and any other software applications that can be installed on Windows OS
  • Support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, remote desktop, CITRIX, CISCO client support, Oracle database support, online meeting/conference support, SAF/IA website and SharePoint administration and maintenance, network outage issues, and any other network support issues as required
  • Support communications equipment installment, maintenance, and break-fix support, including telephones to include VOIP phones, iPhones, Blackberries, facsimile, WAN access point equipment, and other communications equipment and mobile devices as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a desired emphasis in IT, computer science, or related curriculum
  • SECRET security clearance mandatory
  • NATO SECRET clearance eligibility mandatory
  • CompTIA Security+ certification with CE preferred or at a minimum IAT Level I
  • SSCP, A+ CE
  • CCNA-Security or Network+ CE
  • Experience with CMMI ML3
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 2000
  • Expertise in various IT disciplines, including but not limited to: CM, requirements management, IT break-fix, and maintenance procedures, and help desk support
