Job Description Our client is the health care industry is currently seeking an HR Assistant for a short term contract that will start at 5 weeks with a possibility of an extension. This role will require the candidate to work on site 5 days a week for training then will have the option of going hybrid. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, including but not limited to benefits enrollment, time off requests, payroll inquiries, and general HR policies and procedures. Assist with benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits. Support various HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases and systems, and generating HR-related reports as needed. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including preparing new hire paperwork, and coordinating interviews. Maintain organized and accurate HR documentation and filing systems, both electronically and in hard copy, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information. Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and assisting with special projects as needed. Requirements: 1-2 years of administrative experience. Either completion of HR education, or 1 year of HR experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient working on MS Office. Experience using HRIS systems is an asset. Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
