Harbor is currently looking to add a Registered Behavior Technician to our pediatric/youth mental health team in Toledo.

Position is full-time

Serves as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and CPST/TBS Provider for clients of Harbor and/or its subsidiaries by providing professional care to children, youth and adults experiencing a severe and persistent mental illness, and their families.

Education/Experience/Other Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 years of experience required. Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related behavioral/mental health field preferred.
  • Must complete RBT training course and pass examination for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word.
  • Must successfully demonstrate the basic competencies, as determined by your supervisor's review, within 90 days of hire.
  • When applicable, non-licensed staff will be required to complete 20 hours of CEUs every 24 months.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and be deemed insurable through Harbor's vehicle insurance carrier.
  • CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment.
Essential Job Competencies/Primary Duties:

1. Responsible for the quality and completeness of the clinical record.

2. Develops and updates Individualized Service Plan (ISP) for each client in coordination with supervisor.

3. Responsible for accurate and timely documentation which may include, but is not limited to: activity/progress notes, ISPs, DPS logs, incident report forms and any other forms necessary to document services.

4. Types clinical documentation in the format appropriate and acceptable to Harbor

5. In providing billable services, fulfills or exceeds unit expectations established by Harbor.

6. Provides Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment service activities
