Job Description Job Description Sustainable Talent is teaming up with a global leader in the clinical diagnostics, environmental, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics testing as well as in agro-sciences CRO (Contract Research Organization) services to grow their team.This position is based in Philadelphia, PA and is a Direct Hire Laboratory Technologist 2 position . Pay is $26-30/hr based on experience. We are looking for technologists with 3-5 years of experience with testing in a professional setting, HLA testing experience preferred.1st shift: 8am- 6:30pm with rotating weekends2nd Shift: 3p-1:30a with rotating weekends3rd shift: 10p-8:30a with rotating weekendsWe also have a 3rd shift opening for Lead Laboratory Technologist in this lab. Pay $30-38/hr, HLA experience preferred, 5+ years of lab testing experience.Laboratory Technologist 2 responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests within any of the laboratory specialties. Calculating the results of the tests performed.Operating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintaining any laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions and notifying management personnel when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedureEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to established criteriaConducting established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and productsEvaluating results of quality control and implements corrective action when indicated.Determining performance specifications for new methodsConfirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and analyzersMonitoring quality assurance/continuous improvement programsMonitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulationsUtilizes laboratory information systems or other methods to accurately and effectively report patient results.Writing laboratory procedures conforming to standardized format.Reporting test results conforming to established procedures.Laboratory Technologist 2 QualificationsBachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institutionAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Additional InformationExcellent full-time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options.Life and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysPlease be aware that this role will require access to a site that requires COVID-19 vaccination or exemption from vaccination requirements.
