Performs electrical and electronic repairs to assigned systems and components. Systems supported include; fire pump, Freon detectors, HVAC controls, elevators, telecommunications, access control, fire alarms, duress and security alarms, and generators. Assist contractors with modifications and designs of alarm systems. Maintenance and repair including preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, and emergency repairs of alarm systems.Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Education/Experience substitution (specify)Other Education & Formal Training Bachelor's degree in Electronic Technology preferred.Completion of related trade school or related military experience may substitute on a 1 year for 1 year basis.Computer SkillsExperience Four (4) years experience with fire alarm systems and generators as a seasoned trades person in an industrial or commercial setting required.
