Come find out why Basil is the best place to further your career.Position: Automotive Technician/MechanicRare Mechanic Opportunity available at: 6157 S Transit Rd, Lockport, NY 14094Compensation: Between $45,000 and $125,000 Annually (based on experience) Schedule: Split Shift - 3 Days on 4 Days off - rotatingAutomotive Technician/Mechanic Job Duties and qualifications:Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDiagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repairExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommendedCommunicates and works effectively with the parts department to obtain needed partsConveys with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommendedAccurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair orderRoad tests vehicles when requiredRetains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletinsEnsures that the customer's car is kept cleanMaintain a clean work areaOperates all tools and equipment in a safe mannerMust have basic toolsMust have valid NYS Inspectors LicenseBenefits:Competitive WagesWork/Life BalanceWeekly PayAffordable Medical Benefits 401K with employer match after 1 yearPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysOngoing training and advancement opportunityMust have a valid driver licenseCLICK HERE for more Basil Dealership career opportunities in WNY The Basil Family Dealerships are a proud EOE.
