Job Title: HVAC Service Engineer
Effective Date: Immediate
Location: Lockport, NY Headquarters with service areas in Western New York
Job Type: Full-time with overtime potential

If you have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC services, we would love to hear from you.

Clayton Mechanical is an approved contractor with the U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and repair deficiencies in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries professionally
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent with either postsecondary education with on-the-job training or an apprenticeship program

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Service Engineer
  • Active membership in the U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, pumps, ahus, mini-splits and DX cooling systems
  • Ability to reading a wiring diagram and problem-solve efficiently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Compensation:


  • Hourly wage: $40.97 - $49.16 (based on experience)
  • Fringe benefits: $23.93 per hour worked
