Job Description

Pay Range: $25.05 to $29.45 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

  • Recruit, pre-screen, interview and select best qualified candidates for position to meet divisional goals.
  • Conduct job fairs, drug screenings and background checks.
  • Conduct orientations for new employees for all areas of support including but not limited to the Chicken and Turkey Live Operations.
  • Conduct harassment training to the hourly work force.
  • Compute final payments, process all termination with payroll, provide quality check of all paperwork for input and scan into Document Management System.
  • Fill out EDD Disability correspondence.
  • Provide support/backup to all other HR Staff in the department as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Must be a high school graduate, an AA or BS degree is preferred or equivalent HR experience.
  • Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have strong reporting skills, specifically in Excel.
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment requiring simultaneous multi-tasking.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to submit to and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Basic knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA preferred.
