Summary:

The Plant inventory specialists is responsible for various duties and tasks related to the management of finished goods, ingredients and packaging materials at the plant locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily monitoring of bulk ingredients (flour/sugar) levels as well as managing the silo rotation.
  • Responsible for ensuring the rotation of raw materials in inventory to ensure inventory is used on a FIFO basis.
  • Lead the inventory process of finished goods, ingredients, and packaging material as well as working with the Plant Warehouse Manager in reconciling discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • To assist with the documentation within Abimar's system for the receiving and transfer of materials.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end inventory
Requirements

A high school diploma is required as experience in an inventory related field, strong organizational skills and computer proficiency are essential, specifically SAP and MS Office software.
  • Direct working experience in inventory control, such experience should border around warehousing and wholesale distribution.
