Job DescriptionFLSA:Non- ExemptDepartment:Operations SupportJob Title:Production Control AssistantReports To:Production Control SupervisorDOT/ NON- DOT:Non-DOTSchedule:2nd shift, 3:30pm - 12:00amPosition SummaryThe Production Control Assistant (PCA) is a pivotal role within the workbooth operations.The PCA audits aircraft maintenance documentation both in-progress and at completion followed by data entry and scanning audited copies into archive. Creates repair station record of a completed work package and ships to the customer. Perform routine and specialized clerical support duties in accordance with standard operating procedures. The Production Control Assistant uses personal computer applications necessary to complete assigned tasks.Job Duties and Responsibilities1Qualified and proficient in all required customer data entry systems and portals.2Data enters work packages accurately, in a timely manner, on a consistent basis.3Performs technical audit of work packages for accuracy, in a timely manner.4Monitors the time clocked to tasks for accurate billable hours. Informs the Project Manager of items such as man hours exceeding task estimate and allocated materials left over on closed tasks that affect the overall budget.5Informs the Project Manager of outstanding work on reportable milestones close to target date.6Works in tandem with the Planning Department to add items to the workscope including engineering items and after hours work order changes.7Systematically issues task cards to Mechanics and returns cards to the assigned workbooth throughout the shift. Ensures all tasks issued out for the shift are physically and systematically returned to the workbooth.8Attaches material certificates to work cards.9Follows up on work cards needing corrections.10Maintains a running tally of audited paperwork.11Scans work packages creating repair station record of maintenance.12Files work cards and non-routine work cards accurately and in a timely manner.13Provides a shift turnover via e-mail daily highlighting any impending action items.14Ships completed work packages to customer.15Key support within maintenance workbooth to assist in updating reports, document control and informing Project Manager of needed document corrections.16Follows all controlled workbooth and safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed (as required).17Performs other duties as assigned.Key InteractionsInternalDepartments or Job TitlesPurposeImmediate SupervisorMaintenance Managers and SupervisorOther Leads and EmployeesExternalBusinesses or OrganizationPurposeCustomer RepresentativesVendorsOther OpCo employeesPosition ProfileRequiredDesiredLevelAcademic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferredxLanguagesMust be fluent in spoken and written English.
