Title: Medical Doctor - On Call (Part-time)

Location: North Chicago IL 60030

Duration: 12 Months

Part-Time - 4-8 hours per week

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Licensed to practice in Illinois.

3 years minimum experience of practicing

Work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills/Documentation is key.

Excellent time management skills and willingness to work in a fast-moving, highly structured and regulated clinical research environment.

Medical Doctor (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or the non-US equivalent of M.D. degree with a relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment.

Completion of a residency program strongly preferred. Completion of a subspecialty fellowship is desirable.

Must possess excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

BLS/ACLS, otherwise, will be provided.

Experience in clinical research.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for obtaining medical history and performing physical examination of healthy volunteers and research subjects.

Responsible for assessment and reporting of serious adverse events per corporate policy and regulations for assigned protocols.

Responsible for review of Investigator Brochures, Clinical Study reports, regulatory submissions and responses, and other program documents.

Stays abreast of professional information and technology through conferences, medical literature, and other available training, to augment expertise in the therapeutic area.

Responsible for understanding the regulatory requirements related to clinical studies and global drug development and accountable for complying with those requirements.

Ensures adherence to Good Clinical Practices, pharmacovigilance standards, standard operating procedures and to all other quality standards in conducting research.
