We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiac Telemetry RN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with cardiac conditions and provide continuous monitoring.Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Assess and document patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and symptoms Respond to changes in patients' conditions and notify appropriate healthcare professionals Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding cardiac health Perform diagnostic tests and procedures related to cardiac monitoring Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiac nursing practices and participate in continuing education Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice : BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry nursing Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing principles and practices Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software If you are passionate about providing quality care to patients with cardiac conditions and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
