We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiac Telemetry RN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with cardiac conditions and provide continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assess and document patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and symptoms
  • Respond to changes in patients' conditions and notify appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding cardiac health
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures related to cardiac monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiac nursing practices and participate in continuing education
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
  • : BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry nursing
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Benefits

Assignment Location: Olathe, KS

Position Title: Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift times and shift length: 1900-0700

Weekend requirement: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

On-call requirement: None

Holiday requirement: Required

Any Travel Required (between more than 1 location): None

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Would be discussed during interview

Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials: Evening 1500-2230: Night 2300-0730

Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday:
