00998 Daily Responsibilities Support the federal case managers in the distribution of applications to contractor staff. Support the evaluation, analysis, and development of policies, process, and recommended business operations solutions. Resolves complex problems, which may require an in-depth knowledge in various areas such as business planning & operations, data management, and reporting. Perform analyses applying the project management process to support development in policy, plans, schedules, and milestones for agency. Support the development and execution of agency priorities, goals, and objectives. Support the workforce development and training initiatives in the agency. Provide recommendations for business operation changes leading to increased efficiency to the agency staff. Assist in the development of requirements and mission analyses. Support agency in the development of future priorities. Support Case Managers and Directors of agency Provide application approval to the appropriate agency case manager, to include, but not limited to, saving appropriate documents in the SAFETY Act Management System, providing quality assurance reviews to all agency documents and complete special projects related to agency applications. Ensure documents/materials are assembled, prepared, reviewed, and approved by the Director/Deputy Director/Case Manager for applications, upcoming meetings, site visits. Exercise strong editorial skills to assist Case Managers/agency leadership with written correspondence. Required: Years of Experience (min)

BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or Master’s + 5 years of relevant experience Required: Degree

Preferred: Experience supporting homeland security missions. Must have event planning experience. Ability to lead/manage a team to ensure balanced workload. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Required: Clearance
