JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description ____________________________________________________________________________________ Job Title: Business Development Manager - Electro-Mechanical Actuation Business: Regal Rexnord Aerospace & Defense Location: Remote Reports to: Senior Director - Marketing FLSA Status: Exempt Date: Jan 30, 2024 ____________________________________________________________________________________ Summary In this capacity, the Business Development Manager will have ownership of creating the strategic roadmap, creating growth, and expanding a Market Segment, or Product Line Expansion within Regal Rexnord\'s Aerospace and Defense business. This specific position will work across all product lines, brands, and divisions which participate in Aero & Defense, and will be responsible for driving the vertical integration of these mechanical and electrical products into Electro-Mechanical Actuators. The Business Development Manager will advise and support Sales Account Managers on where to focus their attention and how to pursue certain markets and applications in Aero & Defense. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Development of Long-View Strategic Roadmaps for assigned Product Lines and Market Segment expansion and growth. Includes Mapping of current Aero & Defense Applications and projected future needs of the market. Drive development of funnel opportunities, support proposal activities and create business cases for target customers in the assigned market or product line. Actively monitor funnel management activities. Support the Annual Strategic Plan activities, analysis, revenue projections and report-outs for Aero & Defense within assigned Market Segment or Product Line. Support the on-going Policy Deployment or execution of Strategic Plan for assigned Market Segment or Product Line. Support targeted opportunities within the assigned Market Segment or Product Line for timely execution of New Product Development (NPD) post award. Continuously reinvigorate the New Product pipeline to keep assigned Product line or Market Segment vital and growing. Collaboratively support Strategic Marketing to gather the market needs, competitive information, and innovation opportunities to develop market-based product needs. Provide guidance with regards to competitive pricing. Develop and present business cases to the organization for custom-product program investments. Identify opportunities and support Strategic Marketing with market trends through participation at tradeshows, industry seminars, and Voice of Customer campaigns. Create Competitive Analyses, Market Sizing, and SWOT analysis for assigned Market Segment through the Product Life Cycle. Develop the Value Proposition for assigned Market Segment or Product Line.
