BayCare is currently in search of our newest Registered Dietitian I who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Location:

Winter Haven Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • The Registered Dietitian I is responsible to provide optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals or groups through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention.
  • Defines nutritional status, makes recommendations and implements nutrition interventions.
  • Required Licensure includes Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or successful completion of national registration and state licensure within 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

Certifications and Licensures

  • Required - RD (Registered Dietitian) OR successful completion of national registration and state licensure within 6 months of employment.

Education

  • Required - Bachelor's Related Field
  • Preferred - Master's Medical

Experience

  • Preferred - 2 years experience in a related field

Specific Skills

  • Work independently; Work with a team
  • Written and verbal communication skills; Work with minimal supervision
  • Customer service skills; Computer skills appropriate to position
