This is a remote position.Our client is looking for an experienced transactional attorney for our growing Gulf Coast firm.This position can be located in any of our 8 offices located in Alabama and Florida. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong academic credentials and a minimum of 3 years experience in real estate, business law, commercial transactions and/or community associations.Our Firm offers competitive compensation, great benefits, and the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of matters.Hybrid / Remote - Must live near one of the firm offices or be willing to relocate to one of the 8 locationsEssential Functions:Conducts legal researchIndependently drafts transactional documentsAttends client appointments independentlyLearns and understands client expectations and key department business goals and assists them in meeting those goalsHandles and actively seeks opportunities to become involved in special projects and on committeesCompletes all required administrative tasks including time reporting, closed cases, reports and other materials appropriate to performance of job dutiesEffectively makes use of technology and automation in the practice of lawAdheres to all standards of excellence in file managementTravels as required to meet business needsMaintains the integrity of the Firm and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.May Perform Other Duties And Responsibilities As Assigned.Working Conditions- Normal professional office setting. Evening and/or weekend work. In State travel will be required.RequirementsQualifications & Prior Experience:Current license to practice law, in good standing with the Alabama or Florida Bar.Minimum 3 Years Of Continuous, Specific, And Verifiable ExperienceMust be able to participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities, including client intake, trial preparation, etc.Prior transactional experience in estate, business law, commercial transactions and/or community association matters.Must record case time and expenses contemporaneouslyMust be punctual and able to abide by agreed-to office hoursMust have heightened attention to detail and understanding and meeting deadlines, without compromising efficiency and effectivenessMust have great research skillsMust have the technical knowhow of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc., and Adobe, and file management softwareExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation, both in person and virtuallyThe ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesHigh ethical standards observing confidentiality of client matters at all times#J-18808-Ljbffr
