Position Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team, someone who is driven, compassionate, and eager to serve clients. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a hunger for learning, and a desire to lead and grow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in expanding their expertise across multiple practice areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle a variety of family law, estate planning, elder law, estate planning and probate matters
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for litigation
  • Mediate for clients and attend hearings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a positive attitude in all interactions
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the firm through innovative thinking and problem-solving


Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • Proficiency in computer systems and cloud-based office systems
  • 1-5 years of experience in family law, estate planning, or elder law preferred, with a willingness to learn litigation law if not already familiar
  • Excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Team player with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic legal environment
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems (MS Office 365, Clio, Wealth Counsel, DPA)


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
