DescriptionUnder direct supervision for Ultrasound Technologist I and general supervision for Ultrasound Technologist II, the ultrasound technologist is responsible for preparing and positioning patients for various medical imaging procedures, such as, routine ultrasounds to produce high-quality diagnostic images that can be interpreted by a Radiologist.PAYROLL TITLES AND APPROXIMATE SALARIES:Radiologic Specialist I: $41.35 - $54.23 hourlyRadiologic Specialist II: $45.62 - $55.45 hourlyDISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:Radiologic Specialist I- is the entry, training level of the Radiologic Specialist series.Radiologic Specialist II- is the journey level of the Radiologic Specialist series. Incumbents have a minimum of two (2) years' experience and perform their duties more independently in their respective specialty areas.
