Focus:

Execute mammography imaging techniques to

acquire

vital diagnostic data for patients.

Evaluate captured images, rectifying discrepancies to uphold quality standards.

Perform mammography exams following established protocols and procedures.

Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Operate equipment to capture high-quality breast images.

Evaluate images for technical quality and proper labeling.

Collaborate with radiologists to interpret results.

Assist

in implementing quality assurance measures and

maintain

accurate

patient records.

Skill Set

:

2-

3 years of

experience in mammography

.

Hold

applicable licensure/certifications in

radiography

and BLS cert.

Demonstrate clinical and technical

proficiency

in mammography to meet

Quality Standards

requirements.

Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Obtain ARRT registration in radiography mammography within 12 months of hire.
