Technical Project Manager-Building Systems Overview We are seeking a technical project manager to contribute to the development and optimization of our building systems tools. In this role, your duties will include collaborating with other teams and pushing integrations into currently existing enterprise systems. To ensure success as a technical project manager, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in project delivery. Responsibilities • Develop and document process flows for legacy and to-be processes. • Create, update, and maintain project plans, weekly status reports and management reports. • Develop scalable internal SOPs and training, external-facing documentation and messaging to be set as a standard. • Deploy strategic thinking to drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks. • Be seen as a strategic partner and point of escalation for any topics by all lines of business. • Manage and or collaborate with global teams across several time-zones. • Drive follow-up activities in collaboration with all groups associated with the project work streams. • Ensure proactive communication & goal alignment with key stakeholders & customers, and regularly provide project updates (timelines, milestones, risks, performance metrics) to teams & stakeholders. • Provide regular feedback to core teams, including the product team, engineering team, and development team. Requirements • Experience managing enhancements and process improvements in ticketing systems, specifically Zendesk. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and meet deadlines. • Navigates effectively and thrives in working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. • 1+ years' experience working with iterative style development life cycles such as rapid application development, extreme programming, or agile development. • At least 4-6 years of experience in project management with IT projects is crucial. • 3-5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a related industry. • An ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and align teams based on those tasks is crucial. • Ability to keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Desired Start Date: 2023-05-22 Estimated End Date : 2023-08-31 Interview Process: Secondary Screen, Manager Screen Notes: One role will require experience with Zendesk and the other does not. The candidate with Zendesk experience is a higher priority but it won't hold the team from hiring the other candidate first if they are great. Candidates on the West Coast are preferred as well.
