**Description**

**Job Summary:**

As a Labor Foreman you will work with the Superintendent to review and plan for materials, safety, labor, and equipment issues. You will meet regularly with your manager to review the progress of work on the job and discuss problems that are outside of your authority.

**Job Duties:**

* Keeping job-site clean and orderly

* Unloading truck and placing supplies

* Assist Superintendent with any and all aspects they may need help with

* Direct General Labor to complete assigned tasks

* Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and management

* Represent self and company in a professional and positive manner

* Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion

* Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook

* Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of BC Contracting

* Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set

* Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

* Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

**Job Requirements:**

* Get along well with others and lead a team efficiently

* Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively

* Exercise sounds judgement and communicate well with a team, co-workers, management and clientele

* High school diploma or GED

* Associates degree in construction science or management or equivalent combination of training and work experience

* Experience in the construction industry

* Previous management experience a plus

* Strong knowledge of construction methods and industry applicable safety requirements

* Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
