EPLAN LLC provides software and service solutions in the fields of electrical, automation, and mechatronics engineering. The company develops one of the world’s leading design software solutions for machine and panel builders. We continually evolve the business with help from our Marketing, Sales, and Professional Services Teams as we grow our presence in the North American Markets.
As a Account Manager, you will be selling EPLAN LLC.  You will need to balance the management of existing customers while building a pipeline of new business.  You will work closely with our national consulting engineering team to provide detail-specific solutions for our customers.  We need someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and closing business.

You will contribute by analyzing customer facilities and requirements to help drive their business needs through the EPLAN platform. Additionally;
  • Represent and communicate EPLAN’s overall Software and training product line to potential and current customer base.
  • Assess customer needs and partner with EPLAN’s professional service specialists to provide a full scope of product solutions.
  • Service existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by calling on existing or potential accounts in an assigned territory
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing accounts and past issuesPitch and adjust the content of sales presentations through the study of accounts
  • Keep management informed by submitting monthly activity-results reports and territory analyses
  • Help to monitor competitive publications by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and accounts
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
  • Attend networking events within your assigned territory
  • Responsible for increasing sales and market share within a defined territory through measures of daily contact with customers, follow-up on potential leads, and cold calling.
  • Work closely with the inside sales team to provide timely and profitable quotes.
  • Assist in the development of the annual business plan and coordinate its implementation.
  • Keep management apprised of market trends and sales opportunities
  • Work in conjunction with local distributors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for is an Account Manager with the ability to passionately promote and display their industry knowledge to an expansive clientele as we strive to grow our business.
  • We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Business Administration/Marketing along with relevant experience
  • We are looking for a minimum 2 years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS platforms
  • You have strong knowledge of the CAE/CAD marketplace and engineering applications
  • We preferred candidates with experience in the industrial automation industry
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are going to show your proven ability to develop and build strong relationships with c-level and senior management of clients
  • We need someone who is highly proficient in their computer skills including internet, CRM, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and has a complete understanding of consultative and solution selling strategies
