Job Purpose:

The IT Security Analyst is primarily responsible for performing CyberArk system administrator duties. This position will also participate in designing and implementing security systems to protect Veritiv's network from cyber-attacks, and for helping set and maintain security standards by supporting other Information Security team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor computer networks for security issues.
• Investigate IT security incidents.
• Install security measures and operates software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
• Document security incidents and assesses impact and next steps.
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a standard of high-security.
• Develop company-wide best practices for IT security for both on-premises systems and cloud environments.
• Participate in penetration testing as requested.
• Perform CyberArk system administrator duties: participate in CyberArk knowledge transfer from current CyberArk system administrator to be the backup with the goal of becoming the primary; test vendor upgrades; validate that CyberArk SaaS disaster recovery is in-place.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
• Expertise in problem solving, root cause analysis, issue management, or similar experience with continuous improvement of processes, controls, and technology solutions.
• Understanding of software/hardware life cycle, and the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
• Proven ability to take strategic concepts and develop tactical actions plans.
• CISSP, CISA, CRSIC, or CISM preferred.
• Cloud Certifications Preferred (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure).

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years of related job experience.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

• Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.

• Experience with coding skills of Microsoft .net, Java, Python, etc.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

• Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
