We are looking for hard working, ambitious associates with a good work ethic and excellent attendance.We are currently hiring for Forklift Operators / Material HandlersForklift Operator / Material Handler Job Summary:1st and 2nd shift available depending on client.Overtime required as needed$17+ per hourTemp to hireForklift Operator / Material Handler General Duties:The Forklift Operator / Material Handler will operate forklift in moving materials and product in any area of the plant. Must be familiar with material and product and the locations in their storage areas. Responsible for performing work in a quality manner and producing a quality product.Operate a forklift, hand dolly, or mechanical liftAbility to understand and complete all necessary functions of the operation of inventory management bar code system related to the movement of material throughout the warehousePerform work in the following areas: receiving, staging, general warehouse, line supply, shipping and clean up.Receiving - unloading, identifying, and counting all incoming componentsGeneral warehouse - correctly ticket and properly placing components in the warehouse locationStaging - moving components from warehouse and/or shuttles to the desired areaShipping - moving palletized finished goods from the production area and properly loading goods on trailerForklift Operator / Material Handler Qualifications:Must have good communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to safely operate a forklift, hand dolly, or mechanical liftAbility to stand and move as needed to perform job duties for length of shift.Why Peoplelink?We were voted the BEST Staffing Agency in Elkhart Co.Medical, Dental, Vision & Life insurance availableDirect Deposit ProgramsReferral BonusesWeekly PayPeoplelink Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
