Technician/Technologist

Job Summary:

Responsible for quality bench work running patient samples on multiple instruments (urinalysis, hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, and molecular testing (PCR).

Minimum Qualifications:

MUST

have

a valid Florida Medical Lab Technologist license.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of prior laboratory experience.

- Hands-on experience on Beckman Coulter and Sysmex analyzers is preferred but not required. We'll teach you if you understand the basics and willing to learn how to make a career in laboratory medicine.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Summary:

- Produce and report laboratory results in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, automated chemistry and serology.

- Perform, interpret and record quality control data in all departments.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation as prescribed in SOPs.

- Call critical results.

- Manage inventory of lab supplies.

- Perform other tasks and projects as directed.

Work Environment:

We are a high complexity independent reference lab with the mission to provide superior quality service for physicians and their patients. Every employee and every customer are important. The staff is small, the pace is fast but customer service and individual attention to every account and every patient is a priority.

IMPORTANT:

This is a full-time job in the second shift: 2 pm - 10-11 pm, Monday-Friday.

Pay range: $20-30/hr depending on experience and production.

No health insurance.
