Job DescriptionSaint Joseph's Medical Center, Yonkers NY is seeking a full-time Staff LPN that delivers direct patient care by performing treatment and procedures. Documents health care information in EMR and communicates with providers. Educates patients and families. Works within the team under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Medical Provider. Experience with vaccine administration to pediatric and adult patient preferred. 1 year experience as an LPN in an ambulatory care setting. Ability to use computer and electronic medical records. Bilingual: English/Spanish required.SkillsProven experience as LPN or similar roleAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary teamFamiliarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and proceduresUnderstanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practicesExcellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminologyGood knowledge of MS Office and data entryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and able to handle stressSuccessful completion of LPN license program is a mustSalary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hourWe offer a completive salary and comprehensive benefit package.Saint Joseph's Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer.
