Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest quality clinical services to all participants of JJPI’s Survivor Services program and the School-Based Outpatient Clinic at Carnell.
  • Provide supervision for masters-level interns and for unlicensed clinicians as needed.
  • Serve as leader and administrator of JJPI’s outpatient satellite clinic at Carnell School. Take responsibility and oversee licensing-related issues, create and maintain client records, and oversee data collection.
  • Conduct evaluations of participants screening positive for a history of trauma.
    • Interview participants and other parties involved in each participant’s care.
    • Administer psychometric measures and interpret results.
  • Provide consultation and individual therapy with participants who meet criteria for treatment using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and other treatment modalities.
  • Participate in training community members and support staff at the clinic regarding the effects of trauma and trauma treatment.
  • Participate in case management activities that support participants’ paths towards healing and recovery as needed.
  • Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervisions.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with other community agencies and organizations.
  • Responsible for billing 26 hours per week on average and required to maintain sufficient caseload of active participants at the community-based clinic at Carnell and at JJPI’s Survivor Services location to meet this billing requirement.
  • Make initial contact with participants within one week of assignment.
  • Maintain clinical records and complete paperwork in accordance with agency and grant requirements according to the following guidelines:
    • Complete an initial treatment plan within the first two visits of participant contact.
    • Complete updated treatment plans at time of assessment and at least every 180 days.
    • Complete clinical progress notes within two days of session with participant.
    • Complete case management progress notes within five days of activity.
    • Follow up appropriately with participants who have missed a session and continue appropriate outreach.
    • Complete discharge summary within 48 hours of termination date.
    • Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week.
    • Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of various funders.
  • Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment.
  • Complete grant related documentation as required, including the collection and submission of data and narrative descriptions of services provided as well as a summary of outcome measures.
  • Understand and communicate with other programs within JJPI and PHMC and work to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs.
  • Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals.
  • Work closely with community members, OCCCDA staff, and school personnel to understand and provide feedback in implementation of services, including providing support for implementation of a Social Emotional Learning curriculum.
  • Understand the impact of the caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency.
  • Understand the payment source of each client.
  • Complete all forms required for submission of bills for services in a timely manner.
  • Work with other staff to develop new treatment programs to promote the financial performance of the agency.
  • Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals.
  • Participate in market planning for the agency as required.

Experience:
  • Required two to three years clinical experience with populations served.
  • Independent practice license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist).
  • Trained in and experience providing TF-CBT required

Masters’ Degree from an accredited program in a field related to clinical work
