Position Objective:The Operations Specialist is an administrative and operational role, and is responsible for acting as the liaison and main point of contact between Better Health Group and Better Health Group contracted external stakeholders. The incumbent will report to their designated department lead (or similar role) and will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between our organization and stakeholders. Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communicationProactively address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders, ensuring timely resolutionMaintain department-specific trackersCollaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement operational strategiesCoordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss operational issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on goals and objectivesStay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in the healthcare landscape that may impact operationsCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsPropose and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce inefficienciesSolicit feedback from stakeholders to opportunities and address them effectivelyAdditional duties as assigned Position Requirements/ Skills:Bachelors degree in a healthcare administration-related field, required3+ years of experience in healthcare of related fieldStrong knowledge of health plan operations and familiarity with healthcare regulations and complianceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive operational improvementsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaborationPhysical Requirements:Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reachingAbility to sit for extended periods of timeRequires corrected vision and hearing to normal rangeAbility to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation Key Attributes/ Skills:Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principlesAn effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitmentsIs able to work within our Better Health environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passionPursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goalsDemonstrated ability to handle data with confidentialityAbility to work cross-functionally with multiple teams; ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, providers, and health plansStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsMust be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and deliveryAppreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity toward target patient populationsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSWe offer a HIGHLY competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package:Competitive base salaryMedical, dental, vision, disability and life401k, with employer matchPaid time offPaid holidays
