Responsibilities:Obtain patient history and order appropriate imagingAssist with in office proceduresPerform initial concussion evaluation and testingSplinting and casting application and removalBrace fittings and crutch trainingImplementing and instructing patient specific exercise programsReview of lab results, MRI and other study resultsCommunication with MD and PA's regarding patient careManage prior authorizations of medications and imagingCompetencies:Must have current BOC certificationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are essentialAbility to maintain patient confidentialityAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and employeesQualifications:Must have current BOC certificationAt least one year of experience, preferably within an orthopaedic practice, is preferredCommunication skills are essential as this position interacts with practice providers, management team and staff members.Willingness to travel to several clinics on a weekly/daily basisComputer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Electronic Medical RecordsCandidates will be courteous, articulate and reliable, and must be able to multi-task in a busy, professional, fast-moving environment while maintaining excellent customer service.OSG offers a pleasant professional work environment, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits, including generous paid time off.Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
