Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety protocols across multiple sites in the Gulf Coast region. This pivotal role ensures all operations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations while fostering a culture of proactive safety management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions on safety standards, emergency response, and accident prevention techniques.
  • Analyze incidents and near-misses, compiling reports and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing inspections and ensuring all documentation and permits are up-to-date.
  • Engage with management and staff to foster a safety-first culture, leading by example and mentoring team members on best safety practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in safety coordination, ideally within the construction or utilities sector.
  • Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and a strong ability to apply them in a practical, on-site context.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to various sites within the Gulf Coast region (Southeast region).
