SUMMARY
The Warehouse Control Specialist is responsible for the smooth functioning of the warehouse and timely processing of both incoming and outgoing shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping, receiving, and put away of materials both physically and transactionally in SAP
Ensure incoming and outgoing material is properly labeled for identification
Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented in accordance to policy
Pick, pack and ship material accurately to arrive at the destination safely
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse
Optimize warehouse space utilization of inventory stock
Perform inventory control through cycle counting and report discrepancies
Operate warehouse equipment

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
4+ years in Warehousing experience
Forklift certified
Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
Service minded with a strong commitment to follow procedures
Good communication skills
Eagerness to optimize processes
Team player and capable of working independently
Ability to lift heavy objects
System knowledge: MS Office, SAP (preferred) or other ERP system
