SUMMARY

The Warehouse Control Specialist is responsible for the smooth functioning of the warehouse and timely processing of both incoming and outgoing shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shipping, receiving, and put away of materials both physically and transactionally in SAP
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing material is properly labeled for identification
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented in accordance to policy
  • Pick, pack and ship material accurately to arrive at the destination safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization of inventory stock
  • Perform inventory control through cycle counting and report discrepancies
  • Operate warehouse equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years in Warehousing experience
  • Forklift certified
  • Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
  • Service minded with a strong commitment to follow procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Eagerness to optimize processes
  • Team player and capable of working independently
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • System knowledge: MS Office, SAP (preferred) or other ERP system
