Staff Pharmacist

These positions will be onsite at the Byfield, MA location - candidates must be locally sourced.

Minimum Degree Required: Professional (J.D., M.D., D.D.S. or Pharm. D.)

Education:

• Requires a RPh license.
• BS Pharmacy or Pharm D.

Duties:

• Interprets physicians' prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Consults with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
• Counsels customers and handles complex problem resolution.
• Performing first and second verification of prescription orders, performing DUR's, outreach to prescriber offices.
• Fielding phone calls from patients as well as prescriber's offices.

Skills:

• Accurate, efficient and excellent customer service skills.
• At least one year as a registered pharmacist, retail or similar experience preferred.

Shifts:

Five days Monday -Friday, 2 shifts in 9:00AM -5:30PM & 3 shifts in 12:30 PM -9:00PM.

Four days Monday -Friday, 1 shift in 9;00AM-7:30PM & 3 shifts in 10:30AM-9:00PM.
