**Material Specialist Warehouse Associate - Receiving Level 3 - Olathe, KS**

**Full Time Position - Medical/Dental Benefits Available 1st Day**

As a Material Specialist - Receiving, you will be a key contributor to a vital part of our business - the shipping of residential locks for our home security business. Reporting into one of our Value Streams, supporting the operations for Schlage Residential, you will be responsible for the processing of customer orders for shipment.

* **Positions for 1st -- 5:00 am 1:45 pm M - F , Mandatory Overtime as needed.**

**What You Will Do:**

* You will be responsible for all inbound receiving functions as needed in order to support the team/business.

* Responsibilities include but are not limited to, unloading trucks, sort and segregate product, check in and put away product, cycle counting, aisle auditing, replenish material as needed, and support any area of the DSC as requested.

* You will also unload trucks, scan using an RF scanner, label assembly, pick and pack orders; load product onto pallets, replenish stock, loading trucks, and assist in quality auditing

* Take pride in ensuring orders are shipped with quality and accuracy

* You will be expected to meet or exceed daily or weekly productivity quotas

**What You Need to Succeed:**

* A high school diploma or GED is required

* We also need you to be able to speak, read and write English

* You ideally have 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience, in any of the following disciplines: Quality Auditor, Receiving, Replenishment, Shipping Clerk, Assembly, Order Puller and/or outbound Material Stager

* You should feel comfortable operating an RF scanner and possess some basic computer skills

* We prefer you to be proficient in the use of at least two of the following pieces of equipment: Wrapping Machine, Sit-down Forklift, Standup Forklift, Walkie Rider Pallet Truck, ElF Pallet Truck, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker

* You must have the ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent bending, stooping and lifting

* You also must feel comfortable and have the ability to work in a non- climate-controlled environment

* You must always follow proper safety precautions in this fast-paced warehouse environment
