SENIOR NETWORK ARCHITECT Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Network Architect with experience working in highly available Data Center environments. As the Senior Architect you will lead feasibility studies for new datacenters or new branch offices. You will lead the design of datacenters and new branch offices, propose and implement new solutions, oversee the installation of networking hardware in addition to maintaining, supervising and troubleshooting the existing network. This will include migration to Major Cloud providers or interconnectivity to major cloud providers (AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, and GCP Cloud).
This position requires excellent technical skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills to support network architecture requirements. This position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments. The position requires extensive knowledge of data center technologies, infrastructure and methodologies.
SENIOR NETWORK ARCHITECT Duties will include:
- Design data center in a simplified manner, propose solutions to improve the overall health of the network and run it from ideation to implementation.
- Align network roadmap with Company Vision. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies. Recommend technologies to support business requirements.
- Lead POC, evaluate and test new solutions
- Rigorously create, maintain datacenter/site drawings as well as documentation for all processes and procedures.
- Collect, review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes
- Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
- Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all IT infrastructures.
- Performing a wide range of network administration duties including Supervising installations, debugging, maintaining, upgrading, and providing general support as needed for Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, Silver Peak, Aruba Wireless network equipment.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of network devices (i.e. Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, Silver Peak, Aruba Wireless Equipment).
- Troubleshoot network issues throughout the organization as needed.
- Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance of all IT infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience with B.S. in IT or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- CCIE Certification or equivalent Arista Certification (Plus)
- Deep understanding of Major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expert knowledge of Datacenter and infrastructure design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Arista Certification
- AWS, Azure, or GCP certification
- Experience integrating networks into major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
