We work hard every day to be a place of healing, caring and connection for patients and families in the community we call home.About the Job: Technologists accurately, precisely, and safely perform a variety of routine and specialized tests, some of which are complex. Professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of medical technology are used to produce reliable test results. The technologist provides service/care to inpatients, outpatients, to include infants/neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients on a 24-hour basis. Technologists perform phlebotomy and clerical duties as needed. Utilizes accepted quality control, instrument maintenance and quality assurance techniques striving for continuous quality improvement.Requirements:Education: Associates Degree or higher education in Medical Technology or Sciences, required. ASCP, AMT or AMT certification, preferred.Hospital experience preferred. Increased shift differentials available for nights and weekend shifts.
