About the Job:

* Technologists accurately, precisely, and safely perform a variety of routine and specialized tests, some of which are complex.
* Professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of medical technology are used to produce reliable test results.
* The technologist provides service/care to inpatients, outpatients, to include infants/neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients on a 24-hour basis.
* Technologists perform phlebotomy and clerical duties as needed.
* Utilizes accepted quality control, instrument maintenance and quality assurance techniques striving for continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

* Education: Associates Degree or higher education in Medical Technology or Sciences, required.
* ASCP, AMT or AMT certification, preferred.
* Hospital experience preferred.

Increased shift differentials available for nights and weekend shifts.
