**World Class Assisted Living Memory Care Community is presently seeking a Driver to join our team in Encinitas, CA**

**Class B certification required.** ***May** ***be needed for emergency calls.**** **Responsibilities:**

* Operate and maintain company vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service.

* Transport residents of Silverado to medical facilities and/or offsite social activities as scheduled and assigned.

* Responsible for community pets' care

**Qualifications:**

**Education:**

* High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required.

**Experience:**

* Minimum three (3) years driving experience; possesses and maintains an acceptable driving record.

**Other:**

* Must be a minimum of 25 years of age.

* Ability to read, write and speak English.

* Must have a valid driver license and any applicable endorsements for the State of employment and the type and size of the vehicle operated; if applicable, pass a Department of Transportation medical examination to obtain DOT medical certificate; and have passenger endorsement.

* Must have a clean driving record.

* Must have current auto insurance.

* Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.

* Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimers disease and other dementia-related disease.
