Assistant Land Surveyor/autocad Drafter

**General purpose of position**:
Perform land surveying duties in the office and in the field for a small civil engineering and land surveying firm engaged in land development through the County of San Diego.

**Specific Tasks**:

- Perform boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys using a Robotic, Scanner, and GPS equipment.
- Prepare maps for boundary surveys and subdivisions.
- Processing data from field surveys.
- Prepare topographic plats.
- Perform boundary and title research.

**Requirements**:

- A current, valid California Class C driver’s license.
- Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) preferred.

**Qualifications**:

- Work authorization (required)
- Land surveying: 2 years (required)
- LSIT (preferred)

**Schedule**:
9/80 work schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
