Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Overview: Seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Coordinator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement and inventory management processes, supporting the overall efficiency and success of our projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing purchasing tasks, coordinating logistics, and maintaining inventory systems, all while fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion, including emergency purchases and consumable items.
  • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from obtaining price quotations to expediting orders and ensuring timely deliveries in line with project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory, ensuring seamless integration into the system.
  • Work closely with vendors and accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies, manage returns, and follow up on credits.
  • Coordinate logistics for material shipment, equipment rental, and waste disposal, ensuring optimal scheduling and utilization.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of inventory management procedures and participate in physical inventory counts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain coordination, purchasing, or a similar role within the construction or mechanical industries.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Experience in managing inventory systems and coordinating logistics.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and its specific material and equipment needs.
  • Local and stable work history.
