Job Summary and QualificationsTo perform and develop expertise in a range of highly specialized cardiac ultrasound investigations, including transthoracic echocardiograms, dobutamine/exercise stress echocardiograms, and assist with Trans esophageal echocardiograms (TEE) performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification. Demonstrates the ability to understand different age populations and cultural differences to effectively assess and meet those patient specific needs. Communicate effectively with fellow staff members, patients and physicians.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree in Ultrasound Technology
We opened in 2002 to meet the healthcare needs of the growing population of West Marion County. Our 222-bed hospital features all private rooms and offers a full-service emergency room, as well as Marion County’s only inpatient Orthopedic Joint Care Center. Our medical services include surgical procedures, radiological services, urologic treatments, inpatient wound care for chronic wounds, oncology care and various outpatient services.
