Job Summary and QualificationsThe Echo Technologist is a participating member of a multidisciplinary team providing cardiac diagnostics for HCA Florida JFK Hospital. Knowledge base of cardiac anatomy and physiology with understanding of adult heart disease and recognition of cardiac pathology is required. Echo technologist is responsible for performing cardiovascular testing including, but not limited to TEE, TTE, Echo with saline, contract, & stress echo. This position requires knowledge of daily operations of the ECHO Department including clinical, clerical duties and standardized reporting systems. Must comply with IAC Standards and guidelines.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree
- Graduate of accredited echocardiography program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- 6 months hospital experience preferred

Our hospital is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. We offer two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach. They provide the same emergency treatment for adults and children. We are located in the city of Atlantis. We are near the coastal cities of Lake Worth and Boynton Beach.
