Hours: Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) Day Shift
This position supports the performance improvement and patient safety program for Providence Alaska Medical Center by:
Overseeing the daily operations of the Performance Improvement department;
Acting as a resource to management and staff on internal and external quality standards, and the performance improvement process; and
Collecting, compiling, and aggregating performance improvement and patient safety data, working with stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop action plans to improve performance measures resolve "missed opportunities".

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree Healthcare related field.
- Coursework/Training Evidence of on-going personal professional growth and education.
- upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- within 2 years of hire Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
- 4 years Experience in the hospital setting, including two years of experience in quality or performance improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Experience with patient safety.
