The RN Supervisor assists the Director of Nursing in the coordination of the team to deliver resident care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and the resident care model on assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor works closely with the Leadership team in maintaining the operations of the facility during assigned shift. Fosters change and teamwork within the facility.
Providence Transitional Care Center has a total of 52 beds with a good mix of acute stay residents vs. Long Term Care. This unit is about stability and the work is fun and challenging. It has 12-18 Medicare beds.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate's Degree: Nursing
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- One year: Experience clinical staff nurse.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
- Upon hire: American Nurses Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing
- Experience as a Shift Supervisor, or Charge Nurse in Acute or Long-Term Care.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
