Job Description

This position provides direction and leadership for all aspects of PMG AK quality, safety, and the evaluation and implementation of related clinical programs and services. The Supervisor is responsible to develop a system of patient care that is aligned with the triple aim (excellent patient experience, strong health care outcomes, and cost effective care delivery), supporting the culture of Providence (including a significant emphasis on patient experience), and implementing services aligned with the principles of a High Reliability system. Work closely with the Executive Team, Medical Directors and Site Leadership to coordinate resources, ensure training and direction, and measure & report outcomes of safe care delivery.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or related field.
  • upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 5 years Professional nursing experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, or related field.
  • 1 year Supervisory/management experience (or equivalent work experience with progressive leadership).
  • Experience in ambulatory nursing.
  • Experience in quality, safety and clinical practice.
  • Experience in producing positive outcomes from collaborative work with medical leadership.

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
