Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time or hire
  • Prefer Cardiac experience
Responsibilities:
  • Being the primary point of contact for structural heart patients, with triaging calls as appropriate to providers
  • Review of referrals for appropriate records
  • Maintain patient tracking in Excel as well as 3rd party system
  • Patient education both in person and over telephone
  • Pre- and post-procedure patient telephone calls
  • Registry requires follow up calls using validated tools / templates
  • Patient screening through data mining software
  • Assist in growing program protocol development
