LPN - GI Clinic

Presbyterian is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR.
Type of Opportunity: Full Time (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week)

Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
- Provides patient care in the ambulatory care setting according to established standards in collaboration with Medical Providers, Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants as members of the care team.
- Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider’s needs, preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with treatments and procedures.
- Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.
- Other duties as required
